Desirê Karabo Reddy stage name Dezry Kay. Born 02-02-1992 by Mama-Winnie Kekana and Frans Kekana, in baragwanath hospital at soweto and Married Sherwin Reddy. Third of three siblings: Dan Kekana (brother) and Mmathapelo Mojela (sister).
Aquarius star sign media personality: Singer/rapper/ song writer and an entrepreneur: CEO and founder of Dezrykay Trading, who's now an ambassador for Yobuningi Business to Business networking company.
Passionate about art and currently infusing eastern culture and traditions in her existing crafts as a bharatnatyam dance student at Shivohum fine arts. In 2024 Dezry also obtained her level one music certificate as a pianist.
Dezry Kay attended Nkgoso primary school in zebediela rural area of Ga- Molapo then proceeded to high school at Sebitja Senior Secondary school before her distance learning turtiary studies at Intec Collage for Television Production Theory courses.
She's been awarded as one of the best youth entrepreneurs by Tamil business warriors, Recognized as best Entertainer at Olympus awards, Artees Awards and Best Youth Leader at Love to Live organization. Dezry Kay, a former ambassador for Love to Live, dedicated her role to empowering youth with a positive perspective on life. Her efforts focused on promoting self-love, anti-bullying initiatives, anti-racism, and drug abuse awareness across KwaZulu-Natal.
After her tenure, Dezry joined the Konjo Sisters, a charitable initiative that visited charity homes, old age homes, and orphanages to identify struggles and find sponsors to alleviate them. The Konjo Sisters operated in South Africa and East Africa until the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to suspend their mission.
Post-pandemic, Dezry resumed her passion for contributing to youth and social development. As a finalist in the Mrs. Bold South Africa Pageant, she participated in community development projects. She also collaborated with Warriors with a Purpose, engaging in cancer awareness activations at oncology hospitals, donating essentials, and raising funds for patients.
Dezry's outreach extended to schools, where she promoted cancer awareness and donated sanitary pads, cosmetics, and food to disadvantaged learners. Her commitment to social development also led her to participate in a soup kitchen for nyaope drug addicts in Pretoria, partnering with Pepsin and Cleanup Hub to support rehabilitation efforts.
Throughout her music career, Dezry has consistently incorporated social development themes, driven by a desire to inspire positive change and create the world that future generations can be proud of.
